Who is behind this

My name is Sergey Dolgov. Skillemall is my project: I thought it up, built it and run it. I write in the first person because "we" on a website usually hides nobody, and here there is someone answerable for every grade given.

What is built here

The service reads 122 259 skills from 47 open catalogs and gives each two grades: technical — for the safety and quality of the text — and process maturity, that is, whether the thing runs to the end. The crawl happens nightly with nobody watching; at night the service also looks for new catalogs on GitHub and in ninety-odd Telegram channels, and runs the scripts of popular skills in a throwaway machine to record what they actually do.

The engine is open under MIT: github.com/archplg/skilltest. It installs inside a closed network and runs without us. I think that is right: a tool that checks other people's security should itself be open to checking.

Why I took this on

A skill looks like a folder of text, installs in two seconds, and gets access to whatever your AI assistant can reach. Meanwhile the large catalogs show install counts and not what is inside. It seemed odd to me that nobody had built a rating with real checks — so I did.
