A badge for authors

If your skill came out of the checks well, say so where people actually look — in the README.

The badge is drawn when it is opened and shows today's grade, not the one from the day you pasted it in. That is inconvenient, and it is the only honest option: a skill changes, and the letter changes with it. In exchange, a person seeing a green badge in your README is seeing the truth rather than a snapshot from last year.

How to add it

Find your skill in the rating; at the bottom of its page there is a ready line for the README, in markdown and in html. Copy, paste, done. Nothing to sign up for, nobody to write to.

What the colours mean

A and B — no dangerous instructions, no stray keys, the text is carefully written. C and D — there is something to argue with: vague wording, odd commands, a process that stops halfway. Red — we do not recommend this skill and we say so; the exact line that bothered us is on its page.

The grade is about the text of the skill, not about whether the idea is brilliant. We read the files: what the skill tells the agent to do, what it sends outward, what it risks on the user's behalf. Whether the idea is worth it is for the person installing it to decide.

If you run a catalog

The badge is for one skill. A catalog is better off fetching the letter and drawing it in its own layout, next to the install button. There are three open endpoints, no key needed:

GET /api/v1/grade?url=https://github.com/owner/repo/tree/main/skills/name — the grade by the address of the skill folder.
GET /api/v1/grade/<source>/<slug> — the same by our address, which matches the address of the card.
GET /api/v1/grades/<source> — every skill of one catalog as a list, 5000 per page.

The answer carries the letter, a state (ok, missing_files, not_recommended, unrated), the sandbox and model-run results where we have them, and a link to the card with the details. You can call it straight from the browser and cache it for fifteen minutes. We ask one thing: put a link to the card next to the letter, so a person can see what it was given for.

If you disagree with the grade

Write to us through the form and say what is off. Sometimes the scanner reads a line from a security document as a real threat. If the mistake is ours we fix the rule — and every skill is rescored, not just yours.
